Regular band rehearsals began August 19th at All City Stadium. There will be an extra rehearsal on Wednesday, August 20th and the August 21st rehearsal will be at Montbello High - reverse bus pick up/ drop off for east side bus (bus starts at South at 3pm.) See the calendar.
August 20th will be Demo Night at South High All City Stadium. All band students and their families are invited. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM, right after band practice. Dinner will be free for band students and $2.50 for parents and family. After dinner, we will have the Demo Night, to show what we have gotten done over the course of camps this summer. This will be followed by a parent meeting.
August 23rd, we are performing at the Colorado State Fair, in their parade. Be at All City Stadium at 5:30am, bus leaves at 6am (no buses to and from the stadium, find your own ride)
On August 25th DCMB opens the DNC at the Pepsi Center! We will be on Fox news, nationwide! We will be taking 20 of our top kids to perform at the Pepsi Center at 4am. The bus will leave from South at 3am. The kids will be spending the night at All City Stadium so parents won't have to drop them off at 2:00 AM.
September 20th we will be performing at the CU Band Day. Stay tuned for more details.
